LASERCUT CAD - Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye model
This CAD is meant to help you rebuild a 1:100 model of the iconic and timeless Villa Savoye by Le Corbusier. It's the result of my personal work as a former architecture student when I needed to analyse this particular piece of architecture. The cutting works very well with white cardboard 1.5mm of thickness.
Note : The file does not include the cylindric columns (you can easily have that by cutting plastic tubes at a height of 29.5 mm if the model is being built using its original scale : 1/100).
The ".dxf" file is structured in a way to enumerate the different elements according to the level they belong to (Ground floor, 1st floor & Terrace). The "Additional walls" section can be used in two ways :
- In case you need to add curved walls like the ones on the terrace or staircase, and for that you’ll have to lightly cut the card board into many vertical strips to be able to make it curved.
- In case you lost a piece of wall belonging to the other levels.
